 From A1 take A64 then A1036, sign posted York West and then follow signs for City Centre. When you pass The Marriott Hotel on the right, take next turning right. Follow Knavesmire Road/Campleshon Road to the end. Go left into Bishopthorpe Road Hillcrest Guest House is half a mile on the right.
When you arrive at York train station go to the main entrance turn right and follow Queen Street (over bridge) at the traffic lights go strait over into Nunnery Lane (left side is a car park) go to the end of Nunnery Lane and turn right into Bishops Gate straight on into Bishopthorpe Road. We are on top of the hill on the left. Take the bus to Bishopthorpe and exit at South bank. A taxi fare should be about £4.
